Scotland run riot with 104-0 drubbing of Italy in European Cup
Scotland ran riot in their European Cup match against Italy in Padova - winning 104-0 in a one-sided encounter.
Steve McCormack included six new caps in his line-up and the team gelled immediately as they ran in 18 tries without response.
One of the newcomers James Nixon scored four tries and Mick Nanyn made all but two of his kicks in a consistent display.
Coach McCormack said: "To score 100 points in an match is an achievement and I was very pleased with the performance."
Scotland can qualify for the European Cup final for the first time if they beat Lebanon in Glasgow on November 1.
