

New players into the fold for Scottish European Cup bid
Scotland Coach Steve McCormack has called up Barrow winger James Nixon for his squad for the rugbyleague.com European Cup.
Nixon is the Co-operative Championship's top try scorer this season with 29 to date and is one of several new faces in the squad.
Sheffield Eagles' duo Brendon Lindsay and Mitchell Stringer are also called up along with Gareth Moore of York, Hull KR's Rhys Lovegrove and Rob Lunt of Workington Town.
Scotland play Italy in Padova on October 17 before the squad return home to play the Lebanon on Sunday November 1 at Hugenden in Glasgow.
