Disappointment for Grainger

Grainger's four suffer setback in Switzerland
Great Britain's women's quadruple scull suffered a disappointing defeat at the hands of China in round two of the FISA World Cup in Lucerne, Switzerland.
The crew, stroked by Scotland's Katherine Grainger, led the race from the start but were overtaken by the fast-finishing Chinese crew and a young American boat in the last 500 metres of the race.
Grainger, Fran Houghton, Debbie Flood and Annie Vernon still lead the overall World Cup standings thanks to their victory in Munich last month but will be looking to get back on top of the podium in Poznan, Poland in the final round of the competition.
"When the challenge came we didn't have the answers," said Grainger. "Now it will be back to the drawing board with coach Paul Thompson to see what can be done before Poznan and, more importantly, before Beijing."
It was a difficult weekend all round for the British crews who managed just two gold medals in the men's double sculls and men's lightweight double sculls.
The flagship men's coxless four, with two substitutes in the crew, failed to reach the A final of their event eventually finishing second in the B final behind Germany.
