Pamela Clark aiming for success on home soil in Scottish Open and British Championships
East Kilbride’s Pamela Clark has enjoyed success overseas over the past couple of weekends – now she’s aiming for a double at home.
The 12-year-old British Under-15 Champion finished joint third in the prestigious Flowers Cup in Amsterdam and followed up with victory in the Irish Open.
This Saturday, the girl coached by Olivia Sorbie will be one of the favourites at the Scottish Open at the Bell’s Sports Centre in Perth.
In the morning, she will be chasing the gold medal in the Under-15 individual event – in the afternoon, she will team up with East Kilbride clubmate Carla Mills in the synchro.
Pamela is the only Scot in the British squad and is already easily on course to qualify for the British Championships and the defence of her Under-15 title.
