Scots success

The Scottish girls won the Women's Trophy for the 3rd successive year and the boys' team - with Jamie Stevenson the top individual - finished runners-up at the Junior Inter-Regionals held in North Yorkshire.

The boys were beaten into second place in a very close contest (482 points to 473) by a strong team from North-West England.

In the Individual events, congratulations are due to Stevenson (1st, M16), Jo Shepherd (2nd W16) and Katrina McLeod (3rd, W14).

Meanwhile, Scotland's Lynne Walker won a bronze medal in W55 and Katharine Melville was 4th in W65 in the Hungaria Cup in Hungary.

Katharine's results included a hat-trick of first places in a highly competitive field.
