Scott Fraser continued his season's run of success by winning the Oban Sprint Race at the Purple Thistle event.

Fraser, the World University Sprint Championship bronze medallist from Edinburgh, won in 17:09 and by just 30 seconds from Grampian's Oleg Chepelin.

In a hugely successful weekend, Scott also won the Isle of Kerrera event while Doug Tullie (Roxburgh Reivers) took the honours in the longest of the three challenges at Creag-Mhic.
