Scott Fraser selected for GB team for World Games in Taiwan
Scotland’s Scot Fraser, a medallist at last year’s world student games, has been selected in a four-strong British team for the World Games at Kaohsiung in Taiwan in July.
Graham Gristwood, Sarah Rollins and Pippa Whitehouse have also been named for the Games that will involve sprint and middle distance plus mixed relay events.
Fraser, who comes from Dalkeith and works for Scottish Orienteering as a Professional Officer, is a graduate from Edinburgh University and is a great all-round athlete.
One of the longer term goals for the 23-yearold is to run the 10,000m for Scotland at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
As part of the preparations for the World Games, Fraser will be joining a British team training camp in Hungary from May 11-15.
