21 picked for Scottish squads

Dalkeith’s Scott Fraser, the world university championship medallist, is included among the 14 names in Scotland’s Performance Squad for the coming season. Another half dozen are in a Potential Squad.

The programme for the squad members includes several training weekends – a session in Speyside from 14-15 in March will be the forerunner to the following week’s Culbin long race.

The International race experience will come from taking part in the Jukola/Venla Event in Finland on June 20 and a trip to Northern Ireland in October.
