Glasgow Wildcats knocked back by Loughborough Lightning after first win of season
Glasgow Wildcats' hopes of building on their first win of the UK Superleague season were dashed by a potent Loughborough Lightning at Bellahouston.
Wildcats went into the game with new confidence after their first victory against Brunel the previous week.
But Lightning, lying second in the league, came through strongly 58-32.
Lesley MacDonald shot 75 per cent and scored 24 points for Wildcats.
"Loughborough are a class side," said Wildcats' coach Denise Holland, "We were beaten by speed and precision."
