Wildcats go wild

Glasgow Wildcats overcome Celtic Dragons to climb from the bottom of the league table
Glasgow Wildcats leapfrogged Celtic Dragons at the bottom of the UK Superleague with a 42-29 win at the Kelvin Hall.
It was only their second win of the season but it means they look likely to avoid the wooden spoon with only Northern Thunder now to face.
Lesley MacDonald shot 31 goals and Rachel Holmes 11 as the Wildcats started strongly and led 12-3 after the first quarter and 23-8 at half-time.
"I’m delighted with a strong first half in front of the home crowd which was incredible," said coach Denise Holland, "The second half proved much more difficult coping with their changed defence."
