
Double defeat for Wildcats

Wildcats losing streak continues after double loss at the weekend
Glasgow Wildcats suffered a double defeat as they returned to Superleague action.
Wildcats lost a tight match with Team Northumbria 55-45 and then suffered their heaviest defeat of the season, losing 88-27 to league leaders Team Bath at the Kelvin Hall.
The home side were up against it from the start against a rampant Team Bath and trailed 23-7 after the first quarter.
It was much better against Team Northumbria the previous day. Wildcats trailed by just four goals going into the final quarter 38-34 but could not pull it back.
Coach Denise Holland said: "I’m really impressed with the performance closing down to just 10 goals and we played intelligent and assertive netball."
