Scotland's Under-21 team have been handed a difficult group for this week's World Youth Championships in the Cook Islands.
The Scots have been drawn in the same opening pool as New Zealand, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago and Northern Ireland.
"We have much to learn about the Caribbean style, our senior tour to Barbados could not have come at a better time for Scotland Netball, this experience will prove invaluable for the initial pool matches at youth level," said national coach Denise Holland.
Scotland open their campaign against Northern Ireland.
