Edinburgh Monarchs to lose Andrew Tully for 12 weeks with pelvis injury
Andrew Tully looks like missing the rest of the season after suffering a broken pelvis in a crash at Wolverhampton on Monday.
Tully was just reurning after a brief injury absence but now will be out for at least 12 weeks.
The effectively means his season is over as Monarchs attempt to hold onto their Premier League crown.
“I didn't think I was fit to ride anyway. You never really know if you are fit to ride a bike – until you try to ride one," he said
“I didn’t feel comfortable on the parade and after I had made a great start in my first heat, I found I could not easily make the movements you need for balance.
“The bike stopped anyway and threw me off, and of course I landed on the hip again.”
