Top Monarchs to make semi-finals?
Monarchs hope to supply two semi-finalists
Edinburgh Monarchs are hoping to have two riders in the semi-finals of the World Under-21 Championships.
Scot William Lawson has already booked his place after scoring nine points in Zielona Gora last weekend.
Swedish team-mate Thomas Jonasson now attempts to follow in his tracks at the Nordic finals in Finland on May 31.
Monarchs are in action in the Premier League this weekend when they face a double-header against Scunthorpe.
It is the first time the teams have met in 24 years with Scunthorpe only returning to Premier League action this year.
