Edinburgh Monarchs host a star-studded line-up for the Homecoming Scottish Open at Armadale on Friday.
Riders from across the world will compete with Monarchs' American ace Ryan Fisher likely to be amongst the front-runners and team-mate Thomas Jonasson, the Swede, likely to be making his last appearance in Britain this year.
German riders Max Dilger - who has just joined Edinburgh - and Kevin Wolbert are also in the field.
Two former winners Shane Parker (Glasgow Tigers) and Stan Burza (Berwick Bandits) are also competing.
The event is part of the Homecoming celebrations and Sports Minister Shona Robison has helped launch the event with Fisher and Monarchs' Australian team-mate Matthew Wethers.
