Adam and Shedden suffer similar fortunes at Knockhill
Scottish duo Jonathan Adam and Gordon Shedden endured similar fortunes during their home round of the British Touring Car Championship at Knockhill.
Airwaves BMW driver Adam looked good after finishing fifth and seventh in the opening two races before an appliance went off his in car in race three and he was forced to retire.
Fellow Scot Shedden also got off to a good start climbing the podium in second for his new team Clyde Valley Racing however things quickly went downhill from there.
After finishing ninth in race two the Fife driver’s day ended in the gravel after he was forced off the Knockhill circuit while travelling at 100mph.
Meanwhile former British Touring Car champion Jason Plato, Fabrizio Giovanardi and Mat Jackson all shared race honours at the Fife circuit.
