Monarchs to reign?

Monarchs hoping for final push towards title against Tigers
Edinburgh Monarchs face arch-rivals Glasgow Tigers at Armadale on Friday knowing that the Premier League title is within touching distance.
Monarchs are five points clear of Somerset Rebels and have Glasgow to face home and away in their final two matches - with a visit to Tigers on October 12.
Somerset have still to face Mildenhall, Isle of Wight and Birmingham but if Monarchs can finish with two wins then they would secure the title.
Last Sunday's 49-40 win over Newcastle Diamonds put them on course with reserved rider Matthew Wethers making a crucial contribution.
On a track which was desperately difficult due to weather damage, the 23 year-old Australian won seven races out of seven, five of them from the back in a display described by Newcastle announcer Barry Wallace as "The best display of white line riding I have seen in fifty years."
