Edinburgh Monarchs have signed 18 year-old Kalle Katajisto who last rode for the club in 2007.

The young Finn was very inexperienced in those days but had showed enough potential to be recommended by Kaj Laukannen, also a Monarch in the latter half of 2007.

Kalle comes in to the team to replace German Byron Bekker who had asked to stand down from the side.

He will ride in the Premier Playoff Final first leg match against either King’s Lynn or Birmingham at Armadale on Friday.
