Monarchs out to polish off Diamonds

Newcastle's Derek Sneddon returns to Armadale to meet Monarchs
Edinburgh Monarchs welcome back a familiar face when they take on Newcastle Diamonds in the Premier Trophy at Armadale on Friday.
Last year's captain Derek Sneddon is in the Diamonds' ranks as they seek to make the semi-finals.
Monarchs' draw at Berwick Bandits last weekend has given them a decent chance of qualifying as they look to defend their title.
But rider Matthew Wethers believes it could have been even better, saying: "It was good to get a draw at Berwick but I honestly think we could have done better. There were a few unlucky things and I thought we could have got a win.”
