Monarchs enjoy Birthday bash
Edinburgh Monarchs will mark their 60th birthday with a special match at Armadale on Friday.

Former riders will attend and a four-team tournament will take place marking different eras in the club's history.

Monarchs have ridden at four different home venues since they started out in 1948 - Old Meadowbank, Coatbridge, Powderhall and now Armadale.

Current Monarchs will team up with riders from other teams to represent the different eras and race off against each other.

Former Monarchs' riders have been invited to the celebrations and will watch from the stands.

Pic shows (from left to right): Kenny McKinna (1990s), Alastair Brady (1960s), Alan Bridgett (1970s) and Scott Lamb (1980s).
