Monarchs On Brink

Monarchs speeding closer to semi-finals
Edinburgh Monarchs are on the verge of the Knockout Cup semi-finals after a convincing win at Redcar Bears.
With American rider Ryan Fisher leading the way with 16 points, Monarchs won 55-38 in their quarter-final first leg.
It surely makes tonight's (Fri) second leg at Armadale a formality but club director Mike Hunter warned: "We still have some work to do but we've put ourselves in a very good position."
Matthew Wethers scored 12 points and Andrew Tully 11 in a solid overall team display.
Tully misses the second leg as he competes in the World Under-21 quarter-final in Germany this weekend.
