Edinburgh Monarchs have announced that American Ryan Fisher and Scottish rider Andrew Tully will be returning in 2009.

After the team's most successful season there was speculation Fisher would return to the Elite League.

But he has confirmed he will return along with Tully and there is more good news for the team with main sponsors Scotwaste returning for another year.

Monarch ended their season on Friday by beating Glasgow Tigers in the Scottish Cup final.
