Monarchs' Crowning Glory

Edinburgh Monarchs on hottest streak in their history with four in four
Edinburgh Monarchs enjoyed the most successful few days in their history as they won four matches in four days.
In a fixture pile-up, Monarchs won away matches at Birmingham Brummies 49-41 - perhaps their best away display of the season - and Sheffield Tigers 51-42.
The team then returned to Armadale to win a double-header with Berwick Bandits 60-30 and Redcar Bears 60-33 and Monarchs have comfortably booked their place in the play-offs.
Monarchs' final match saw them lose 41-49 at Rye House Rockets in the Knockout Cup but it was enough to see them through to the final on a 104-76 aggregate.
