Easton lasts just three laps of World Superbike race two

Stuart Easton's Netherland's race ends in misery due to mechanical fault
Hawick's Stuart Easton was left to rue what might have been after his second World Superbike race was brought to a premature end in the Netherlands.
The 25-year-old lined up on the grid in good spirits after marking his maiden world race with an 18th place finish at the Assen TT circuit.
But things took a turn for the worse during race two with Easton only able to complete three laps before his Kawasaki ride was forced off with mechanical problems.
Race one winner Ben Spies followed Easton's lead crashing out in the first lap as Championship leader Noriyuki Haga topped the podium with Brit Leon Haslam and Jakub Smrz finished second and third respectively.
