Stuart Easton jumps at surprise chance to get back on track
Hydrex Honda's Stuart Easton will be back on track sooner than expected before the next round of the ViSK British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park next weekend (2/3/4 May).
He will replace regular Paul Bird Motorsport Team rider Broc Parkes at this weekend's round of the World Superbike Championship at Assen.
Parkes suffered a shoulder injury during testing at Snetterton earlier this week and the Australian is undergoing surgery today (Wednesday), leaving the team in need of a replacement rider.
Easton said: "I couldn't believe it when the call came in from Paul, I didn't need to be asked twice, that's for sure!
2It's a brilliant opportunity for me and I'm really looking forward to working with the team in a race environment rather than just testing."
