Easton disappointed

Stuart Easton was denied the homecoming win he was dreaming of as Leon Camier continued his dominance of the ViSK British Superbikes championship at Knockhill.

The Hawick star finished second to Camier in race one, the third time in four rounds he has been denied his first win of the season by the narrowest of margins.

The Hydrex Honda rider then finished fourth in the second race as Camier completed his third consecutive double.

Easton remains third in the championship standings but insists it is only a matter of time before he tops the podium.

"Finishing second is becoming a little bit frustrating and I would have loved to have won in Scotland," said Easton.

"But we know we aren't far away and we have got everything in place.

"We aren't looking for a lot more to improve, we are just looking for tenths of a second and putting the final pieces in place."a
