Stuart Easton hoping to continue fine form at ViSK British Superbike Championship
Stuart Easton is disappointed not to have taken his first pole position in the ViSK British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park this afternoon.
The Hydrex Honda rider is now gearing up to convert his second place into a maiden race win.
Easton had been consistent during all three qualifying stages, with six minutes remaining he posted his fastest lap and it looked like no other rider was going to better him but Leon Camier left it late to attack, pushing Easton back to second.
Easton said: "I am a bit disappointed to lose pole position as we were so close to getting our first one, but the main aim was to get a front row start and that is what we have done this afternoon.
"I am still hoping that we can secure our first win here; it is just a case of keeping up our confidence. We have been in the top three or four all weekend so we just need to keep calm and see where we can go from here."
