Easton vows to hit top form at Donington
Biker Stuart Easton insisted there will be no sign of his early season nerves when he takes to the ViSK Superbike Championship grid at Donington Park on Bank Holiday Monday.
The 25-year-old Hydrex Honda star has picked up just one podium place in the opening four races and failed to finish the second race at Oulton Park last time out with a mechanical failure.
Big things are expected from the former Kawasaki rider this season but Easton has vowed to come out fighting at Donington Park.
"I've been riding a bit tight early on this season," said Easton. "I suppose it is to be expected when you are riding for a new team and if I can relax a bit I should be fine.
"I've got a few finishes under my belt now and qualifying has been going well so the next step is to try and consistently hit the podium.
"It's a big couple of weeks for me now. If we can get a positive result at Donington it'll put me back on form for Thruxton the week after, which is my favourite track on the circuit."
