Keith Amor feeling confident going into Isle of Man TT
Falkirk's Keith Amor believes his debut Tourist Trophy victory is just around the corner in the Isle of Man after an impressive practice week.
Amor, a relative newcomer to the TT in just his third year, has recorded lap times of 126mph in the Supersport and 121mph in the Superstock in practice.
The brilliant sunshine of practice week made way for wind and rain on Saturday causing the Dainese Superbike race to be postponed until Monday.
Amor's favoured Supersport and Superstock races have been moved to Tuesday, and the 36-year-old believes the double header is his best chance of glory.
"I'm not setting any goals but yes I'd love to win one," said Amor. "All I will say, is that I'll be there or thereabouts in both the Supersport and Superstock races. I've learned more this year in a few days of practice than I did the past two years.
"The Superstock bike is more stable and easier to ride than the other two, so I can be more aggressive in my approach.
"But there's a lot of foxing going on out there and John McGuinness will be the man to beat in every class."
