Amor on podium twice in the Isle of Man

Falkirk's Keith Amor insists there is nothing like stepping on the podium in the Isle of Man TT, especially twice in one day.

In 2008 the 36-year-old claimed third only after New Zealand rider Bruce Anstey was disqualified and so never got to step foot on the hallowed podium.

But after finishing third in the Relentless Supersport Race, Amor repeated the trick in the Royal London 360 Superstock Race which produced an identical top-five.

And Amor could not hide his delight at finally tasting the champagne.

"We missed out on it last year so to get on the podium this time around was great and we really got to do everything properly," said Amor.

"I had no idea where I was or where I was overall but I just made sure that I kept my head down and tried to get round as quickly as possible.

"But I wouldn't like to have to work any harder to get on the podium than I did today because it was a real battle.

"It was nice to be on the podium having missed out on experiencing that last year and I'm absolutely delighted."
