Aberdeen teenager Freyja Prentice secured an impressive 10th place finish on her Modern Pentathlon World Cup debut in Mexico City.
The 18-year-old was the highest placed finisher of the four British athletes and finished ahead of six athletes who competed at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
The University of Bath athlete won 18 of her 35 fencing contests to place 15th after the first discipline.
She then placed 19th in the swim and scored 1160 in the riding event before having finishing sixth in the run-shoot event to lift her to 10th in the overall standings.
