Scotland to play Japan in World Championship play-off
Scotland will face Japan to dispute eighth place at the World Championships in Prague.
After going down heavily to reigning champions Australia in their quarter-final, the best they could finish was fifth.
But Scotland then lost 11-8 to Wales - the second time they had lost to the Welsh at the event.
Wales led 3-0 early on but Scotland pegged it back to 5-5 at half-time before being hit hard by four quick-fire goals from Wales after the break.
Wales now go on to play off for fifth with Ireland, who held off Japan 15-13 in their play-off match.
