Kimberley Renicks bags silver at German Open Championships
Kimberley Renicks struck silver at the German Open Championships in Sindelfingen.
The Lanarkshire player fought her way through to the final of the Under-48kg class before losing in the final to German Wasilisa Prill.
Renicks upstaged Edinburgh's Sarah Clark who stepped back up to Under-63kgs but finished out of the medals.
After losing her opening bout against Germany's Claudia Ahrens, she still had a chance of bronze but then went out to Holland's Hennink Antoinette.
