Edinburgh's Sally Conway won the Under-70kg title at the GB World Cup event in Birmingham.
Conway finished the day unbeaten to strike gold by beating Finland's Elina Paulman in the final.
It was a notable result for the player who went to the Olympics in Beijing for experience and is building towards 2012.
There was a silver medal for clubmate Connie Ramsay in the Under-63kg class.
Ramsay battled through to the final but then lost to England's Colleen Kerr.
