Burton, Clark and Rogers make Olympic team
Three Scots have been named in the seven-strong British judo team for this summer's Olympic Games in Beijing.

Edinburgh's Euan Burton will be a leading medal contender in the men's -81kg category having landed a bronze medal at last year's World Championships in Brazil.

He is joined in the team by fellow Edinburgh Club athlete Sarah Clark who qualified in the women's -63kg event. Clark finished just outside the medals at the recent European Championships in Portugal.

Whitburn's Michelle Rogers will compete in the women's -78kg category.

The 32-year-old, who also finished off the podium at this year's European Championships, is currently ranked ninth in the world in her weight category.
