Sarah Adlington - from the Edinburgh Judo Club - picked up a bronze medal at the European Under-23 Championships in Croatia.

Adlington, from Shrewsbury but coached by Scots David Somerville and Billy Cusack, beat Ukraine's Svitlana Yaromka in the play-off for third.

It was her second bronze at the event after winning the same colour of medal last year.

She lost in the semi-final to France's Emilie Andeol.
