Midlothian youngster Jordan Steel re-signs for Edinburgh Capitals
Edinburgh director of hockey Doug Christiansen believes Jordan Steel will be a different player to last season after the forward put pen to paper on a new deal with the Capitals.
The 18-year-old netted his first professional goal for the club against Hull Stingrays last March and is preparing for his third season in the Scottish capital after agreeing terms.
And Christiansen, who saw hit man Mark Garside sign a new deal last week, admitted to seeing the changes in the Midlothian teenager already.
"Jordan is one our top young prospects, he is working very hard in the weight room to add strength to his frame and he has all the tools to be a productive player," said Christiansen.
"I hope this season he puts it all together and really contributes."
