Forward Andrej Rajcak has left Edinburgh Capitals to play in Italy for Generali Aquile FVG.
Rajcak played his last game in the 4-3 win over Basingstoke on Saturday - scoring what proved to be the winning goal.
He missed Sunday's 6-0 defeat by Nottingham in Edinburgh and Doug Christiansen, Director Of Hockey for the Capitals, admitted it was a blwo to lose the player.
"The departure of Andrej Rajcak is disappointing although I do not blame him," he said, "He had a good opportunity and he took it.
"I was going to hold Andrej back if he did not play against Basingstoke, however, he wanted to play to help the team. I am actively working on bringing in a replacement as soon as possible."
