Capitals lose two key players in space of one week
Edinburgh Capitals have been dealt a fresh blow after the departure of recent signing David Nimmo earlier this week.
Fans' favourite Adam Stefishen has been ruled out of this weekend's matches against Belfast and Manchester Phoenix through injury.
He suffered a lower body injury in last Sunday's home win over Hull and has been receiving treatment all week.
Director of Hockey Operations, Doug Christiansen, stated, "Losing Adam is a big blow. He is a heart and soul player who keeps other teams tough guys honest.
"We will be short on players this weekend without Adam and David Nimmo, who left the club on Monday.
"We are going to play a smart simple road game against Belfast who are a very skilled team and then look for another home win against Manchester Phoenix on Sunday at Murrayfield Ice Rink."
