Iain Graham moves up to control sport and perforamnce for British Show Jumping
British Show Jumping has appointed Iain Graham as head of sport and performance.
The 39-year-old Scot previously held the position of Scotland and northern regional director for British Eventing for six years.
Based in Glenfarg in Perthshire, Graham will continue to work in his regions for the eventing season, and will support BE as a course designer and technical adviser, as well as work at International events.
"It is excellent news for our sport that Iain has accepted this position," said British Show Jumping chief executive Diana Cornish.
"His professionalism, depth of knowledge and experience across equestrianism as a whole will prove extremely valuable as we continue to move forward."
British Eventing chief executive Mike Etherington-Smith added: "It is sad that we are losing such an experienced and professional Regional Director, but it's a great opportunity for him.
"In his time as Regional Director Iain has helped a lot of new events get off the ground and expanded the sport in his regions. I know that Organisers, Stewards and competitors will miss his professionalism.
"Iain has chaired the BE Safety Committee for two years and his knowledge has been invaluable to the sport over the years."
