Grange and Inverleith clinch penalty strokes victories to set up Edinburgh final
The men's Scottish Cup final will be an all-Edinburgh affair after Grange and Inverleith both secured semi-final victories on penalty strokes.
Grange keeper Colin Johnstone was the hero of the first game of the day as he saved four penalties from Kelburne, including Alan Forsyth's sudden death attempt, as his side progressed 3-2 in the shootout.
It could have been a different story for Kelburne had Jonny Christie not blazed a glorious opportunity over the cross bar right at the death with the scores tied at 2-2.
Kenny Bain scored the only goal of the first half only for Craig Harper to restore parity and while Bain again put his side ahead after the break, Duncan Batchelor ensured the match went the distance.
In the other semi-final the Western Wildcats roared back from 4-0 to forced penalties courtesy of goals from Scott McCartney, who netted netting twice, Andrew Sewnauth, who powered home a penalty corner and Douglas Simpson, who also fired home.
Adam McKenzie, Ramsay Bell and Callum Milne (2) had put Inverleith in total command, and although they let their lead slip, they regained their composure to take victory 3-2 on penalties.
In the women's event Bonagrass Grove overcame Porcelanos Kelburne 3-1, courtesy of goals from Nicky Kidd, Beck Merchant and Lindsey Glass, while Amy Hislop grabbed Kelburne's only goal.
They will face Milne Craig Western in the final after they cruised to a 3-0 win over Giffnock as Holly Cram, Morag McLelland and Claire Scott all found the net.
