Scotland look to improve on draw with England in Four Nations comp
Scotland coach Keith Joss insists practice makes perfect as his side prepare for three matches this weekend at the Four Nations Tournament in Lisieux, France.
The Scots crashed to a 4-1 defeat before salvaging a 1-1 draw in a double-header with England last weekend, leaving Joss impressed by his troops' defensive improvements.
Joss' side will head to Amsterdam in August for the European Championships and he is convinced the chance to blood his youngsters against the likes of France, Belgium and Germany under-21s will pay dividends.
"This weekend is more about performance rather than results - it offers a tournament situation," said Joss.
"We don't get that in too many tournament opportunities in the build-up programme, so we'll be looking to simulate a similar situation to the Europeans.
"We're still working on getting the right combination of players and with several Western players away, the Four Nations offers other players the chance to be seen."
