

Purvis takes top prize at Scottish Championships
Daniel Purvis, a member of the team that won the European Junior Championship in Lausanne last month, has been crowned Men's Scottish Champion at the Championships in Perth.
Purvis, a 17-year-old who trains in Southport, is part of an exciting new generation of Scottish gymnasts.
Danny Keatings, who captained GB in Lausanne, has been selected as one of Britain's two male gymnasts to compete in the Olympic Games in Beijing in six weeks' time.
Falkirk's Stephen Tonge, who was recently selected for the GB Junior squad, confirmed his huge potential by winning the Scottish Under -11 title.
The winner of the inaugural Dave Scollon Memorial Trophy for the gymnast who impressed the judges the most in the All-Around competition was Shane Currie.
