Carly Booth to head Scottish women's team to compete against men in March
Curtis Cup player Carly Booth will head a Scottish women’s team that will take on a Scottish Golf Union men’s team for a first time at Irvine Bogside on March 14.
With the women’s Home Internationals scheduled to take place over the same course in September, it will be the perfect ‘taster’ for the Scottish Ladies’ Golfing Association team.
The innovative new fixture will involve foursomes in the morning followed by a series of fourballs in the afternoon. And the women won’t be given any extra strokes!
The women’s line-up is: Carly Booth (Comrie), Laura Murray (Alford), Kelsey MacDonald (Nairn Dunbar), Lesley Atkins (Minto), Louise Kenney (Pitreavie), Emily Ogilvy, Pamela Pretswell (Bothwell Castle), Jane Turner (Mortonhall), Kylie Walker (Buchanan Castle)
