
Vikki makes solid start

Laing starts strongly in bid to join LPGA Tour
Scotland’s Vikki Laing made a promising start with a one over par 73 and was tied for 35th place after the opening round of the final pre-qualifying school in Florida.
The Musselburgh 27-year-old was tied for 35th place - the top 30 after 72-holes go forward to the the final qualifying school in Florida in December.
Sunny Oh and Meah Chang shared the lead on 68, while Laing was the only British player in the top 50.
In the first pre-qualifying school in California last month, Vikki missed a top 30 spot by just one shot.
