Jane Turner focusses on securing spot at Women's British Open
Craigielaw's Jane Turner has set her sights on grabbing a place at next week's Women's British Open at Royal Lytham in the one round qualifying event at Fairhaven.
Turner recently passed a pre-qualifying test after she shot a level-par 72 at The Berkshire but will have to be at her very best to join the world's best at the Lancashire links.
The 19-year-old is arguably the top amateur in Lothians ladies' golf and insists it would be a dream come true to join the likes of American superstar Paula Creamer and recent US Open winner Eun-Hee Ji.
"This event is what I've been focusing on since the pre-qualifying and to play in the British Open itself would be an incredible experience," said Turner.
"If I can go out and produce a solid performance, then hopefully that will get me through."
