

Scottish ladies finish down the field in far-eastern sojourns
Glasgow’s Janice Moodie, the only Scot in the field, shot a final round 72 and finished in a tie for 52nd place on one over par at the LPGA Tour’s Mizuno Classic in Japan.
South Korean Bo Bae Song closed with a 68 to in on 15 under par, three shots ahead of a group of three that included the world No.1, Lorena Ochoa, who gets married later this month.
At the Korean Masters on the Ladies’ European Tour, Musselburgh rookie Vikki Laing was the only Scot to make the cut and she finished with a 75 for a ten over par total and a share of 37th place.
Clare Queen missed the cut by five shots on 14 over par after a second round 78 and Lynn Kenny was a further shot back after an 83.
South Korean players dominated the leaderboard with Soo-Jin Yang (71) and Sarah Lee (72) sharing a one stroke lead on three under par.
