Scottish duo Elliot and Lloyd Saltman have become the first brothers to qualify for the Open since Seve and Manuel Ballesteros 26 years ago.
Elliot, 27, booked his place for the Turnberry event after a three-under-par third-place finish at Glasgow Gailes.
Meanwhile, younger brother Lloyd, 23, was also on his way to qualification courtesy of a ten-under performance at Kilmarnock Barassie.
"It's just fantastic that both of us are going to be at Turnberry next week," said Lloyd.
Elsewhere, Jose Maria Olazabal and Jean van de Velde, runner-up at Carnoustie 10 years ago, missed out on grabbing one of the 12 available spots for the event which starts next week.
