Norway's world No.3 Suzann Pettersen claimed her second title on the Ladies' European Tour this season as Scot Clare Queen suffered a final day slump at the AIB Irish Open at Portmarnock Links.
Pettersen, who won five times in America last year, won the Swiss Open on a rare outing to Europe last month, and a final round 67 saw her complete the double with an impressive 11-under par total.
Another Norwegian, Marian Skarpnord, dropped a shot at the last for a 70 but it was still good enough for second place on six under, with the veteran New Zealander, Lynn Brooky, in third place on four under after a 73.
Queen, who had been in the top seven after a third round 69, had a very disappointing final round of 79 and slipped back to joint 43rd on six over par. Julie Forbes was on eight over after a 74, and Lynn Kenny completed the list of Scottish qualifiers with a 77 for 11 over.
Morgan Pressel, the 20-year-old American who had been issued a special invitation, finally came good on the final round with a best of day 66. She had opened 77-71 and finished tied for seventh on two under par.
