Queen is lone Scot

Clare Queen, the only Scot to make the cut, shot a final round 74 and finished in a tie for 36th place on even par at the Scandinavian TPC at Frosaker.

South Korean Amy Yang, who was the youngest ever winner of a Ladies' European Tour event when she won the 2006 ANZ Australian Masters at the age of 16, replaced Scotland's Catriona Matthew as the new champion thanks to a superb final round of 63 and a 14 under par total.

In a tournament that was reduced to 54-gholes after Friday's play was washed out by floods, the Asian teenager finished six shots ahead of a group of four players, and seven better than the tournament host, Annika Sorenstam.

For Sorenstam, a six-time winner, it was her final appearance in her native Sweden before she quits tournament golf at the end of the year. She closed with a 72.

Matthew was unable to defend the title as she is now in Ottawa preparing for this week's Canadian Open on the LPGA Tour.
